Just when I was getting back into this I computer went screwie - but it is back up - until the kids find a way to screw it up again. you can get alot doneduring the week when your not farting around on the computer.

The Month of Love

I love february because it is the shortest month of the year and the last month of winter - WOOOO - HOOOOO! even though I am not ready for spring still losing tha baby wieght.
And I just love doing valentines for the kids and making heart shaped cookies. making fun valentine plans with Jason. O.K so why do you love february? it is the month of love you know. -share:)

I AM BACK

It has been a long break. starting with the birth of our beautiful son born on Dec.8 . Getting back into the swing of things has been a little difficult . I had my first day back at the gym yesterday & kids all back to school today slowly but surely it is coming along. I'm not really in a hurry .I want to enjoy this time . with Jr. getting ready to graduate - I see how fast time goes by.

On Nov. 19 Jason and I celebrated 18 years of marriage. It is hard to believe so much time has gone by. But when I think of our age when we met reality sinks in - Cassandra is old!- we really have grown up together . I feel so lucky and blessed to have him in my life. The road has not been easy but definitely worth it. I was joking with him saying in 18 more years Jaxon will be graduating. Then the reality of that statement hit me and I was completely exhausted!

So I have done a lousy job of keeping up with this.I find facebook much easier to deal with. I have not had alot of time on my hands. I have made napping a priority!


The cold is definetly here in Indiana. The high this week was like 34? I believe my hybernation season may start early. My nutty kids come home from school and are totally ready to play outside! These same children I sware I need to lock out of the house in the summer just to get them to go out and do something!?!

well new day, new president. I am actually not as bummed as I thought. Let's see how the first year goes. I did not believe either one could solve the the major problems are country is facing- economic - terrorists . but I tell you what this "new'" kind of government they are talking about is called socialism and it is not so new paint it any color you want it still spells out alot of crap for our country!

CATCHING UP!

I can not believe the last time I was on was Oct.21. my weekdays have been pretty hectic and the past two weekends I have not been home. I went to visit my very good friend Alicia over fall break. we had alot of fun just relaxing and we went out to eat at Cheese Cake Factory to celebrate her 25th Birthday and I only had Cathryn with me the rest of the children were at home with Jason. Of course I tooke my camera but did not take any pictures. I am such an ediot!
And this past weekend Jason and I went to Nashville, Tenn. he had some work stuff to doand I tagged along.we were able to visit with some friends from blacksburg. It was really nice catching up we had not seen them in 8 yrs . and my older brother happen to have work in the area too so I was able to see him . Once again had the camera but no pictures. I am blaming it on pregnant brain. The kids were left to fend for themselves. they did a very good job. they even got up and ready and went to church on thier own.

It is fun to look back. Our family has changed and growed so much.

I am going to send the kids pictures out as school pictures since I was to cheap to buy them this year. They are to expensive and the kids don't always look thier best. Jesse thinks it is funny to frown in his (literally frown) it is such a big fake frown. Cahryn is always slouching. Of course Jr. will get his senior pictures wich is of course all the kids pictures and then some !

This past saturday we also finally made it to one of Cecilia's cross country races!
It was her last race and she improved her time by 25 seconds. she was pretty proud of herself. and we are pretty proud of her too!

FALL FESTIVITES

This past weekend we tooke the kids to the Pumpkin Patch.
The cost of entry: $7.50 each
The cost of soda:$2.00 each

LETTER TAG

1. Mommy- actually I love my mom and being one.(most of the time)
2. Marriage- it has made the past 18 years an adventure. Jason is a good man.
3. Memories- I keep the good ones close to my heart and the bad ones just remind me how wonderful the good one are
4. Meals- A good meal always make me happy. which usually has a steak(filet) -medium.
5. Mobile Phones- how did we live without them! I would especially like it if I had an "I-Phone"

7. Movies- our friday night date night is usually dinner and a movie. we really like going to the movies! and at the cinema they serve CARAMEL POPCORN!

WEDDING WEEKEND

This past weekend Jason and I attended the wedding of real good family friend. I have known him since the 3rd grade. We went with my mom and dad and my brother Leo and his wife Shelly. It was fun in so many ways- hanging out with my family-seeing Luis so happy-dancing big and pregnant-and reminiscing with old friends. So anyways I was havingso much fun and didn't get all the pictures I wanted. at least I got the bride and groom, in the middle is grooms bro. Benji(he clearly stated that he does not go by that anymore but I was given permission .his bro. Georgie said the same thing-who unfortunately is not in the picture)beside him is my bro.Leo and his wife Shelly. then the next photo is Benji and his daughter Sophia. When Ben was little my sister and I would not miss a chance to pinch his cheeks(they were so cute) he says the memory has scarred him:] . I was very happy to see he passed them onto his daughter. No pictures of Jason and I and I was all dressed up. oh well.

CROSS COUNTRY

Cecilia, Jesse, and Celestina are doing cross country this year having fun and making us proud. they have each made a personal record. There is a picture of Celestina speeding past me, Jesse, and I found this picture onthe camera Celestina tooke of her ribbon where she placed 6th(she was very proud of her self). Ihave no pictures of Cecilia because I am a bad mom! I have not been to one of her meets. (in my defense they are all far) anyway her last one is Saturday and I plan to be there. Hey I am well aware that I am not up for mother of the year!!
